Actions in Access Point of Care are scheduled tasks that form part of planned care. This guide explains what actions are and how they appear on the home screen.


What are actions?

Actions are planned care tasks that must be completed at set times. These can include:

  • Risk assessments (new or review)

  • Assessments linked to care plans

  • Custom actions, such as tasks related to GP visits

  • Scheduled charts that need to be completed regularly


Actions on the home screen

The home screen gives an overview of all actions, showing:

  • Completed actions

  • Actions due today

  • Upcoming actions

  • Actions due within the next two hours

  • Overdue actions (past their scheduled time)

  • Missed actions (not completed and no valid exception recorded)
