Configure and customise care plan domains

Steps to create, edit, and manage care plan domains in the clinical configuration section.

You can customise care plan domains to match your organisation’s requirements. Managers with the right permissions can access the admin tab to create, edit, or organise care domains.


View care domains

The care domains section shows all domains in your facility, grouped into:

  • Active care domains – currently in use

  • Archived care domains – no longer active


Identify domain status

Active domains may show:

  • Square box – no mapped forms; the domain can be archived

  • Unmap option – appears when forms are mapped to the domain


Edit a care domain

To edit a domain:

  1. Select the domain

  2. Click Edit


Change a domain name

  1. Click Edit domain name

  2. Enter the new name

  3. Click Save


Add goals and interventions

You can review existing goals and interventions and add new standard ones. These will appear on all care plans using that domain.


Manage subdomains

Subdomains help organise a main domain.


Add a subdomain

  1. Click Add subdomain

  2. Enter a title

  3. Select a text style


Delete a subdomain

  1. Click Remove

  2. If the subdomain has mapped forms, a warning will appear before deletion


Reorder domains

Drag the boxes on the left to reorder domains. The order set here will be the order shown in live care plans.


Finish editing

Click Done to complete your updates.
