You can use Chart Preferences to set baseline healthy ranges, choose alert settings, and control which charts staff can access for each resident.

Configure Chart Preferences

1. Open chart preferences

  • Select the resident.

  • Go to the Clinical tab.

  • Find the Chart Preferences section and expand it to view all available charts.

2. Review available charts

You’ll see:

  • Standard charts provided by the system

  • Custom charts created by your organisation

3. Edit chart settings

Click Edit to update chart options. You can:

  • Activate charts

  • Deactivate charts

  • Adjust preferences based on the resident’s care needs

4. Enable or disable charts based on assessments

Charts should reflect the resident’s level of care.
For example:

  • If a resident is independent with toileting, you can deactivate:

    • Bowel chart

    • Urine chart

This prevents unnecessary charts from appearing at the point of care.
