Release notes for version 1.1.1

Release notes.

Written by James Murrell

Overview

We're pleased to announce reporting capabilities and interface improvements in APOC Web version 1.1.1. This release brings powerful Forms & Charts reporting tools, enhanced chart table views, improved home page alert visibility, and general UX refinements.

New Features

Documentation Forms & Charts Interface

A comprehensive new reporting area enables care staff to view, filter, print, and export resident assessment forms and observation charts across all residents from a centralised location. This supports shift handover preparation, audit documentation, and management reporting without navigating individual resident profiles.

  • Tab Navigation: Switch between Forms and Charts views with clear breadcrumb trails and back navigation

  • Advanced Filtering: Filter by form/chart type, resident, location, status, and date range with searchable dropdowns

  • Bulk Actions: Select multiple forms for bulk printing with page breaks or Excel export (validation prevents mixed-type exports)

  • Chart Views: Timeline, Table, and Body Map views for observation charts with expandable clinical details

  • Chart Export: Export simple observation charts (Bowel, Fluid, Blood Glucose) to Excel for trend analysis

  • Clinical Amendments: Strikethrough chart observations with mandatory reason for audit trail compliance

Enhanced Chart Table Views

Chart table views now dynamically display all chart-specific data fields as columns, matching Access Care & Clinical functionality. For Bowel Charts, users see Bowel Action, Continence, Type/Consistency, Amount, and Interventions columns. Blood Pressure Charts show Systolic, Diastolic, and Resident Position. This enables comprehensive trend analysis across multiple observations.

Improved Resident Alert Visibility

The home page now displays a dedicated Alerts section with three tiles showing Active alerts (requiring attention), Actioned alerts (previously addressed), and All alerts total. The sidebar Alerts menu item displays the Active alert count as a red badge indicator. This provides immediate workload visibility without navigating to the Alerts page.

Interface Improvements

This release includes general UX cleanup and refinements across the interface, including improved modal button layouts, enhanced loading states and performance, and streamlined page navigation for a more polished user experience.
