Exception briefing

Find out what the Exception Briefing in your Access Point of Care feed means for you.

Written by Emma Ianson

The Exception Briefing is a notification in your Access Point of Care feed. It lets you know that actions or alerts need your attention. You receive it if you have an active account in your organisation and permission to work with tasks or alerts, or to administer medication.

What it does

Twice a day, you receive an Exception Briefing item in your feed. Evo Workflows runs it automatically.

It tells you that actions or alerts need your attention. To see them and update them, open the Daily Exceptions Review app.

When you receive it

You receive the briefing at these times:

  • 8:00 AM, every day.

  • 2:00 PM, every day.

Who receives it

You receive the briefing if you meet both of these conditions:

  • You have an active account in your organisation.

  • You have permission to work with tasks or alerts, or to administer medication.

You receive one briefing per time slot, even if you have more than one of these permissions.

What it looks like

The briefing has the title Exception Briefing Feed. Its message reads:

‘There are actions and alerts that require your attention, please go to the Daily Exceptions Review navigator app to view and update.’

📌Note: The briefing is for information only. It has no buttons or links.
