View and add progress notes on the mobile app

In this article, we explain how to view a resident’s progress note history, add notes to existing entries, and create new notes.

Progress notes provide a timeline of key information recorded through charts, assessments, and manually added entries. You can access a resident’s full progress note history directly from the mobile app and contribute new updates at any time.

View progress note history

To open the progress note history for a resident, follow these steps:

  1. From the resident's profile, tap Progress Notes.

  2. Choose a time period:

    • 7 days.

    • 14 days.

    • 30 days.

Each progress note displays:

  • The detail of the information added.

  • The date and time the note was originally added.

  • Who added the note.

  • An indicator showing whether the note has synced back to the database.


Add a note to an existing progress note

To add a subsequent note to an existing progress note, follow these steps:

  1. Choose the existing note you want to add to.

  2. Enter your additional note. The system defaults to today's date and time.

  3. Tap Create Progress Note.

Your additional note appears in the history, grouped with the original entry.

📌 Note: You can hide the additional note if you don’t want it visible at all times.


Create a new progress note

To create a new progress note for a resident, follow these steps:

  1. Tap Create Progress Note.

  2. Enter the details of your progress note.

  3. Select the Include in handover checkbox, if required.

  4. Tap Create Progress Note.

Your new note appears in the progress note history and syncs back to the resident’s profile in the web application.
