Release notes for APOC Web 2.3.0

Remove User Record Page content - already released in 2.2.0

Written by James Murrell

Overview

This release of Access Point of Care Web (APOC Web) lets you attach and track linked actions on orders, and includes a number of reliability improvements.

What's new

  • Add linked actions to medication and treatment orders: When you create or edit an order, you can attach one or more linked actions, extra tasks like a pain check that need to happen alongside the order. Give it a name, and add a note or reminder if you want more detail to show alongside it. Linked actions follow the order's own round, so they'll appear in the medication round or treatment round depending on how that order is set up.

  • See and track linked actions on the Actions list: Every linked action shows up on the Actions list, so you can see what's outstanding, overdue, or completed across all your residents in one place, without opening each order individually. You can filter, search, and assign linked actions the same way as any other action.

  • PRN doses each get their own linked action: For PRN orders, each time the medication or treatment is given, its linked action becomes a separate entry on the Actions list. If a PRN medication is given three times in a day, you'll see three individual actions to complete, one for each dose.

  • Reliability improvements:

    • Adding medication for a newly created resident now completes successfully

    • You can now add a resident even when your facility has no treatment trolleys configured

    • Filtering the Residents page by a medication trolley now shows only residents assigned to that trolley

    • Orders with multiple parts now show the correct Linked Actions options for each part, instead of an extra unrelated section

    • You can now save a Message of the Day in medication-only facilities

    • Overdue linked actions on the Actions list now show Edit and Delete options, and completed ones show a View option

    • The Caregiver dropdown when recording medication outcomes now only shows staff who belong to your organisation
