How announcements work and how to add and view them on desktop and mobile.

Announcements help keep staff informed by displaying important messages on the care home home screen. Follow the steps below to understand how announcements work, how to add them, and where to view them on mobile.


What Are Announcements?

Announcements appear as soon as staff log into the system. They can be added by head office or home management. Each announcement includes:

  • A message of the day

  • A timestamp showing when it was added

  • Any shift information, with its timestamp

How to Add an Announcement

Only users with the correct permissions can add announcements.

  1. Go to the Announcements section.

  2. Click Add Announcement.

  3. Enter your message.

  4. Save the announcement.

The message will now appear on the staff home screen.


How to View Announcements on Mobile

Announcements can also be accessed through the mobile app.

  1. Open the mobile app.

  2. Go to the Announcements area.

  3. Staff can view and acknowledge messages from here.
