How to access the Resident tab, view resident information, and add new residents in Access Point of Care.

The Resident tab gives you a quick view of all residents in your chosen facility. This guide explains how to access the tab, what information you’ll see, and how to add a new resident.


Accessing the Resident Tab

  1. Click Access Point of Care.

  2. Click the Resident tab in the left‑hand menu.

You’ll then see a list of all residents for the selected facility.


What You’ll See on Each Resident Tile

Each resident tile shows key information, including:

  • Resident photo

  • First name, surname, and preferred name

  • Date of birth

  • Resident indicators

  • Facility and location

  • Admission date

  • Last updated date

  • Active alerts

  • Any overdue actions

This gives you a clear snapshot of each resident at a glance.


Adding a New Resident

To add a new resident:

  1. Click Add Resident.

  2. Enter the required details.

  3. Save to add them to the resident list.
