The Charts tab gives you a clear view of all charts linked to a resident, grouped by category and status. This guide explains the chart categories available and how to search, filter, and view chart information in the charts library.

Access the Charts Tab

  1. Open the Residents tab.

  2. Select the resident.

  3. Click the Charts tab.

Chart Dashboard

The dashboard shows all charts for the resident, organised into:

  • In Use – Charts currently active

  • Continuous Charts – Long‑term monitoring (e.g., weekly weight)

  • Active Charts – Short‑term or acute monitoring (e.g., active wounds)

  • Completed Charts – Finished charts (e.g., healed wounds)

  • Archived Charts – Old charts stored for reference

Chart Types Explained

  • Continuous Charts
Used for ongoing monitoring, such as weight tracking. These prompt regular updates based on the action schedule.

  • Active Charts
Used for acute issues like wounds. These are updated frequently until the condition improves.

  • Completed Charts
Marked as completed once the issue or condition has resolved.

  • Archived Charts
Older charts no longer in use. They do not appear in active lists.

Using the Charts Library

In the charts library, you can:

  • Search charts by keyword

  • Filter by chart status (e.g., active, completed)

  • Sort charts by date or time range

  • Open a chart to view current data

Chart Details You Can View

Each chart entry shows:

  • Chart name

  • Last person who updated it

  • Assigned designation (if any)

  • Chart status

  • Assigned location (if applicable)

  • Date of last update

You can also choose how many charts to display per page and move through pages as needed.
