You can view and navigate charts in several ways, depending on the type of chart and what you need to do. Follow these steps to access and explore chart views and features.

Access chart views

To open a chart view:

  1. Navigate to the chart tab.

  2. Select the relevant chart to open the chart view.

Explore standard chart views

There are two views for standard charts:

  • Timeline view β€” displays entries over time and shows details such as:

    • Name of the chart.

    • Status of the chart.

    • Who started it.

    • Any designation assigned.

    • Last person to enter information.

  • Table view β€” presents the same information in a table format and allows easier selection of observations.

Print observations

To print observations directly from the chart:

  • Click Print.

Analyse trends over time

  • Use the table view to better understand trends over time.

Access active charts and body map view

For active charts (for example, paint chart, infection chart, wound chart):

  • Selecting the chart provides a body map view.

  • This view shows all entries by location and summarises each entry.

Navigate directly to a chart

  • Click Go to chart to navigate directly to the selected chart.
