Acknowledge alerts in the system

Steps to acknowledge alerts and create action plans to prevent alerts from recurring.

The system raises alerts when a resident’s baseline healthy ranges are not met. You can acknowledge these alerts and add an action plan to help prevent them from happening again.


Access alerts

  1. Open the Alerts tab

  2. Go to the resident’s profile and open their alerts.


Acknowledge an alert and add an action plan

  1. Go to the Acknowledged tab and select the alert.

  2. Enter an action plan explaining how the issue will be managed.

    • Example for low fluid intake:

      • Check the hydration chart.

      • Make sure fluids are being offered as outlined in the care plan.

      • Record the action taken in the system.


System updates

After you acknowledge the alert, the system will:

  • Save your action plan along with the alert.

  • Mark the alert as actioned.


Documentation and sharing

The action plan is automatically added to the resident’s progress notes.
It will also be available for:

  • Handovers

  • Care staff using the mobile app at the point of care
