You can complete the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) chart from a resident’s profile in the mobile app. As you enter information, the system guides you through each step and calculates the overall MUST score, including management guidelines based on the resident’s level of risk.
Follow along with our video guide.
From the resident's profile, tap Add Observation.
Choose MUST from the library.
Specify whether care was given.
Enter the resident’s height and weight.
📌 Note: The system automatically calculates the BMI.
Enter the weight loss score.
To understand this information, you may wish to review the historic MUST charts, historic weight charts, or the progress note history from the past three to six months.
Record whether the resident has been ill and has had no nutritional intake for the past five days.
Tap Complete.
Once saved, the system calculates the overall MUST score and displays the management guidelines based on the assessed risk. The completed information also appears in the MUST chart within the web application.
📌 Note: The MUST score is colour coded to indicate risk level. A score of two or more is highlighted in red to indicate high risk, and displays with specific management guidelines required.
